Since 1986, the QMJHL Foundation has been dedicated to supporting the academic journey of its student-athletes through scholarships and various support programs.

Fully committed to having a significant impact on communities, the QMJHL Foundation facilitates access to hockey for young people from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds by providing them with the appropriate equipment.

History

Since 1986, the QMJHL Scholarship Program has awarded more than $20 million to thousands of student-athletes over the years.

Today, the QMJHL’s mission extends further by actively engaging in the fight for accessibility to hockey in the face of the costs associated with the practice of this sport. The QMJHL Foundation pursues two major objectives:

To support student-athletes in their academic journey through scholarships and adapted support programs.
To provide young girls and boys from modest socio-economic backgrounds with access to sports facilities so that they can play hockey in good conditions.
